Meet adlai : an ancient grain also known as Job’s tears (Coix lacryma-jobi). With its beautiful pearl-like shape, chewy texture, and naturally nutty flavor, adlai is a grain that deserves a place in modern kitchens. Often compared to a combination of rice and barley, this nutrient-dense grain is a delicious way to add variety, plant-based protein, and texture to your favorite meals.

How Gardening Is Helping Me Heal: The Science Behind Why Connecting With Nature Changes Us
The connection between soil and mood is also chemical. The Morning Drink I Use to Support Digestion and Hydration
Lately I’ve been trying to hydrate more. I really notice a huge difference when I do, and I just know my body has been craving it.
Hydration + Digestion Ingredients
16–24 oz filtered water
1 tablespoon chia seeds
juice from 1/2 lemon
lemon slices
cucumber slices
optional pinch of mineral salt
I usually let it sit for like 10 minutes so the chia seeds soften before drinking.
