Easy Chocolate Banana Bread Pecan Pie

Updated: Mar 31

ree

I have been adding protein to my desserts, breakfasts, shakes (pretty much everything..) for years now!

My body responds very well to a diet high in protein so I always find a way to add it to my meals. Especially now that I eat completely plant based, I make a major effort to eat as much protein as possible.

I don't like to rely on powders for my protein source, but they do make meeting my protein requirements a lot easier!

Today I was craving something super sweet! And as always, I wanted it to be simple, and healthy. I hope you love it!

1. In a small mixing bowl, add 1 large banana and mash completely.

2. Add 1 full serving of your favorite chocolate plant protein! I always use Orgain.

3. Mix completely until a smooth batter is formed.

4. Sprinkle with cacao nibs. And then add a layer of pecans.

5. Cover the pecans evenly and lightly with pure maple syrup.

6. Microwave for 1:00 for a soft gooey consistency! If you like it more firm, microwave for 1:30.
