Jars: Links & FAQ's

Hello! Welcome to all of my new followers, subscribers, etc! Thank you so much for being here.

My recent video -- which now has 2.3 M views (WOW! Thank you!) has gotten a lot of comments with questions about the jars, and where to buy them so I'm here to help!

I am going to share here which jars I use, and how I use them.

I typically eat the oats out of the jar because in the morning I grab them from the fridge and take them to go! With the salads, if I am home, I pour them into a bowl, and usually cook up a veggie patty to go with it. If I have to take them to work with me, I usually just eat out of the jar! Totally up to you, and whatever is easiest for you!

When it comes to cleaning, I wash the caps by hand, drying them immediately to avoid rusting. I usually soak the spiral jars in soapy water since I use them for my oats.

Many of you love the spiral jars for my overnight oats! They're super cute and make for a great breakfast jar, but I have an alternative on here as well at the end.

I do prefer a wide mouth jar,

but these are larger, at 28 oz

which is too large for my oats

I use these ones for my oats: 16 oz, but they are regular mouth.

For my salads:

I use a wide mouth 32 oz jar. This is quite large so the 28 oz jars could work as well.

There are tons of other sizes that would work, but these just happen to be what I use! Some people like the short and wide jars for their overnight oats, and those are great too!

These are 16 oz. and I am probably going to buy these to try them out for my parfait snacks!

For those of you that do not have jars, and cannot afford jars-- you absolutely do NOT need jars to enjoy these salads, oats, recipes, etc.!

Making the salads complete with the dressing might be more difficult, and I would recommend against preparing the salads with the dressing in a regular bowl just because it would make the ingredients become soggy (having the dressing sit at the bottom keeps it from touching the other foods).

But making overnight oats in jars is not necessary at all. You can use cups, bowls, or anything else you have! I used to make my oats in old peanut butter containers!

Hope all of this helps ! <3
